How long do meals last?
Your meals are always prepared fresh and delivered fresh. Therefore, they will remain fresh for a full 7 days in the refrigerator. Perfect timing for your new delivery to arrive!
How to reheat meals?
Our meals are stored in recyclable BPA free containers. These containers are safe for heating in the microwave. You can keep the lid on the containers and heat for 2-3 minutes depending on the density of the food item. Leaving the lid on allows it to steam and keep moisture in during the meal reheating process. You can also preheat your oven to 350 degrees, remove from the containers into an oven safe dish, and heat for 10-12 minutes.
How does ordering work?
With a 6 week rotating menu, our options are abundant and ever changing. Every week, we release new options. Just log on, order and set up your delivery date. Orders placed by 12PM on Wednesday will be available for pick up or delivery on the upcoming Sunday. Orders placed by 12PM Sunday will be available for pick up or delivery the next Wednesday. With a wide delivery window of 9AM-10PM, you will receive a text message notification, to the phone number, you provided when ordering, alerting you that your meals are on the way. You should expect to receive a text message within 2 hours before delivery is set to begin. Pick-ups are available on Sunday via our curbside location located @ (location). Specific instructions will be given via text within 2 hours prior to pickup.
What happens if I miss my delivery?
If you think there is a chance that you might miss delivery, reach out to us one day before your scheduled delivery day and we will store your meals in our refrigerator. Food temperature and safety is a major concern and we will store them until you can pick them up. If you live in an apartment or condo, or have other limitations we can have meals delivered to your place of employment.
Please give specific instructions to insure a safe delivery. Our driver will attempt to call you upon arrival with any questions. If they can’t get in touch with you, the meals will be returned to our kitchen and held in our refrigerator for pick up. Detailed pick up instructions will be delivered to you via text message.
Where are your ingredients sourced?
We source our fresh vegetables, wholesome grains, and protein choices from local Michigan farmers. We believe that it is environment friendly and sustainable to shop within the niche of farmers and meat producers in our immediate surroundings. We take pride in our meals being fresh and never frozen. Therefore we shop locally and immediately after our ordering deadlines to insure you get the freshest meals to last you throughout the week.
